First half of the month of May we were in Mississippi visiting our supporting churches there
while staying with our friends – Harold and Mitze Iosty. Bro. Harold is a part of VMI (Vision
Ministry International – prison ministry) and along with three other men (like we do every time I
am in MS) he took me to a State Correctional Facility on one Friday where we were allowed to go
in two separate blocks with about 35-40 inmates in each block (these are the ones that stay in
their cell for 23 hours a day, there mostly for drugs)...

God chose the nation of Israel to be His special people. He did not choose them because they
were special, but rather, they became special because He chose them. “For thou art an holy
people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto
himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. The LORD did not set his love
upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the
fewest of all people:” (Deuteronomy 7:6-7). God chose Israel to be a “light unto the Gentiles”,

waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof, they

God.” Right now we face a difficult and dangerous time in World history. It is clear that Israel
faces a grave danger even greater than that when six Arab armies attacked Israel on May 14th
1948...

Through the centuries of Biblical times one nation has stood aside from all other nations of the
entire world in their veneration of the LORD that is Israel. While all or most other nations of
ancient days or even nations of today had or have gods to revere and do their service toward.
One nation was and is being watched, cared for and protected from annihilation while other
nations have simply disappeared through annuls of time. Reading through the Hebrew Tanach
numerous names of heathen nations, gods and their worship services are mentioned briefly...

I come to you today with a great burden in my heart. I have had this thought in my mind for
quite some time. “What can I say to you in order to express the truth that I live in Jesus the
Messiah today? How can I show you from the Scriptures that He IS Messiah?” There are many
ways to develop a clear explanation of my belief, but the most outstanding reason I can find in
my heart is my testimony, and the testimonies of thousands upon thousands of people
throughout the centuries that have been changed by Jesus, a change that emanates from
within...

There are several important issues to understand when witnessing to anyone, Jew and Gentile
alike, and that is to know the Scripture verses explaining the Lord, his character and salvation
and we must be able to explain them simply. I believe this is especially important with our
Jewish friends or neighbors. Many Jewish people DO NOT read the Scriptures so their knowledge
of the Hebrew Scriptures truth can be very limited. It is overcoming that name which is above
every name that is the difficult part of a Jewish persons understanding...
